Resolution

No. As of October 25, 2026, local authorities or schools in Jigawa State have not publicly documented a "resumption" of institutional free meals at a specific school where a decline was reported. The report published shortly before this date regarding the decline of free food for almajiri pupils in Jigawa State explicitly noted that the shortage was not a reduction in government or school-provided meals. Instead, the decline referred to the traditional, community-based charity system.
