Will University of Lagos or University of Ibadan release a Post-UTME advertisement setting their minimum cut-off at 200, defying the 150 national baseline, by Friday?

Outcome: NO

How this forecast is settled

Will UNILAG or UI set 200 as cutoff despite the 150 baseline? Competitive schools rarely align fully with minimum national thresholds.

Resolution

NO, neither the University of Lagos (UNILAG) nor the University of Ibadan (UI) released an official Post-UTME Advertisement (Call for Screening) by Friday, May 15, 2026.While both institutions have confirmed a minimum cut-off of 200 (defying the national 150 baseline set by JAMB), this was communicated during the Policy Meeting and via press briefings, not through a formal "Call for Applications" advertisement.
